LATEST NEWS:
We have played schools performances in 2018 as well as private concerts and functions and upcoming concerts too. Its been a great journey playing with different people and in Wellington; Salinas, Ecuador and Australia as well as our hometown of Auckland. We have recently had the news that we have been accepted as presenters in the 2018 Rotterdam Viola Congress, so looking forward to launching out internationally and building on our similar performance last year at the International Viola Congress in Wellington in September 2017, which the Founding Board member of the Dutch Viola Society, Kristofer Skaug reviewed thus:
"So… for the festive celebration of a good congress: The Gala Banquet at the New Zealand Parliament Building (only 5 minutes’ walk from St Andrews) was a very chique event. ANZVS Secretary Greg McGarity and his wife Dr. Elena Abramova played viola/violin duets [by Spohr; Lazlo & Mark O'Connor]. A very fine performance!"
